Big Spring in Newville, Pennsylvania
This project will gather all data for the last 7 years (biological, chemical, geological, physical) access, analyze, graph, as well
as fall and spring biological and chemical benchmarks. All data will be combined and written up in a massive report made available to
the public, state, and watershed (Big Spring Watershed Association). Please contact us if you are interested in this project.

Antietam Creek in Waynesboro, Pennsylvania
This stream needs benchmarked biologically and chemically to establish a baseline because future development will
destroy this little gem of stream. Please contact us if you are interested in this project. Antietam@riverandgamekeeper.org
Benthic Protocols for Acid Mine Drainage
This is a national study. Rapid Bioassessment protocols have been established for streams for organic pollution by
the EPA. These RBPs when done properly by competent aquatic scientists work very well. However, they do not work well for other
types of pollution. This study will lay the foundation for determining successional protocols to map the course of recovery for
these types of streams. These studies are long overdue and these streams will not come back unless studies and protocols of this type
are established. Please contact us if you are interested in this national project. AMD@riverandgamekeeper.org
The Chesapeake Bay: Can it be Saved? A Video Documentary
Since I’ve put more nets in more streams and have done more observations and studies over the years on the streams going
into the Bay, I think I have a very good handle on this fiasco. The Bay is a national treasure or should I say a national
disaster! More money has been wasted on the Chesapeake than any body of water in the USA. From poor science to politics and
cover-ups it’s time the public and the nation were told the truth on the what has occurred and what the chances are of the Bay surviving
without the propaganda from all sides. Please contact us if you are interested in this national project. Bay@riverandgamekeeper.org
Middle Spring Creek, Shippensburg Pennsylvania
Middle Spring Creek, Shippensburg, PA. Once a thriving trout stream this stream has been degraded. We seek funding
to benchmark this stream to establish a biological and chemical base line, thus forcing the state DEP to act. If interested
please contact me: gene@riverandgamekeeper.org
